Cedars of Lebanon Candles King Solomon went to great lengths to acquire this strong, fragrant wood of Lebanon to build his house and most of the First Temple. It was also used along with hyssop in the cleansing of a leper's house. It speaks of strength, permanence and wholeness. Ps 104:16 “The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which He hath planted.”
